A digital equivalent of a handshake.

Having been raised in a Gujarati family in South Mumbai, and studied at Palmbeach School, Warden Road, I would often be found doodling at the back of a book, or on my desk. I was intrigued by the styles of Indian architecture found in history books — which led me to further study the three most prominent Indian styles: Nagara, the northern style; Vesara, the mixed style; and Dravida, the southern style. Each carries a unique regional influence and lineage.

Going on to study Interior Design at Rachna Sansad, Mumbai, I would frequently brainstorm with fellow students on how an existing design could be enhanced and simplified, both at once.

Early years involved associating with fellow designers, which led to open ideas shaping my plastic mind — notably Mrs. Jasmine Adenwala, with whom I remain associated to this day. Experimenting with fluid designs, abstract lines, colours and textures for clients including Mr. B.G. Shirke (Shirke Construction Group), Mr. Pankaj Udhas (Indian ghazal singer) and Mr. Balram Singh Yadav (M.D., Godrej Agrovet), among many other compassionate men and women — with projects spanning South, Suburban and Navi Mumbai, Koregaon Park, Magarpatta (Pune) and Malabar Hill, among other locations.
